Depending on weather conditions, seaweed take on average 3 days to dry completely in greenhouses. When weather requires it’s used a solar powered dryer, to ensure a single and continuous drying process by controlling seaweed and air humidity levels, in order to maintain their biochemical properties and full potential for biotechnology uses.
